Fast paced aerobic action with DOM-HerrschenSE in a wide-open fun environment. This map plays better then I expected and delivers a nice playing experience. A huge hall with ramps, elevators and nice colored lights that sets a good atmosphere and delivers a DeathMatch feel for you hard core fraggers out there. The music raises the game play a notch because it's so fast paced that it feels like the game play is faster than it really is and the bouncing you can do on those ramps fits this maps style nicely. They really help the game play and flow on this map and are designed pretty well, almost like a DeathMatch map. This map is nice looking which always helps when playing DOM, DeathMatch or CTF for that matter.

There is decent lighting and some colored light effects in the side corridors where the mini gun is placed. The lights that are hung from chains have a mosaic feel to them and add a little color with their placements all over the map. The upper level can be a bit dark and could have used some lights there, like by the elevators, because I missed them completely until I saw a BOT use them.

Weapons placement is ok, not the best, but it works for this map. The sniper and pulse rifle are up stairs with the mini gun and razors in the side blue corridors, which is why I questioned the placements and the rockets and flak under the ramps just opposite of the ground control points. There is a bio gun lying around and an extra enforcer, which is good to have since I play Excessive Overkill a lot and am very used to dual enforcers. I would have rather seen the mini gun and razor gun by the elevators but that’s just me. The BOTs did seem to congregate around the control point in the center of the map on the upper platform, but they do jump down using the ramps and attack the ground control points frequently. So the BOT play was not as bad as I expected, but could have been a bit better. The music rocks, but it's not going to be to everyone’s liking because of its aerobic flavor. But it did get my legs moving and certainly picked up the pace of the game play. I didn't notice any additional ambient sounds and that would have been nice, but it could have clashed with the music, so I understand why they might have been left out. Bottom Line: This one is worth the disk space and should play nicely for you. Good atmosphere and decent BOT play should deliver a good gaming experience.

This is a fairly wide-open map with ramps and was fun to play, but the bots could be better. Even though they did go for the side control points, it seems that most of the action was centered around the central CP.
